New Ogunquit Restaurant with a View: The Trap in Perkins Cove

The Trap in Perkins Cove Restaurant

There’s a welcome new addition to the Ogunquit dining scene – namely, The Trap in Perkins Cove.

This casual restaurant, with an incredible view, took over the space formerly occupied by Chowders.

The owners are April and Jason Evans – who also run the incredible popular Perkins Cove Lobster Shack right across the road from their new location.

Both of these restaurants – and other Perkins Cove favorites are a very short walk from the romantic Hartwell House Inn of Ogunquit, Maine.

The menu at the Trap has a few welcome surprises on it – especially the emphasis on fried oysters (seldom seen in Perkins Cove).
